In the training 'Negotiations', the negotiation techniques according to the Harvard model will be introduced and practiced in role plays. The training will cover

  • The difference between typical negotiation strategies and the Harvard 'Win-Win' approach
  • Introduction of the technique 'to distinguish between subject and person'
  • Introduction of the technique 'to focus on interests and not on positions'
  • Development of decision-making options to create possibilities for mutual benefit
  • Role play: negotiation to find win-win solutions in a practical case

This training can be combined with any other training from Sommer & Partner Consulting.

Learning Objective

After the training participants know the differences between tactical negotiations and negotiations striving for win-win solutions. They understand that the Harvard technique is based on the consideration of interests of all negotiation partners and can practice the technique at work and in their private life.

Duration, Location and Format

The training lasts 2 hours and takes place in a virtual room. Access information will be provided in advance. If you have specific questions or case studies you would like to discuss during the training, let us know on the order form. The content is delivered through a presentation, case examples, exercise and dialogue with the trainer.
